Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Claims Specialist to join our dedicated Policy Services team in Vancouver, WA. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage claims processes, ensuring accurate documentation, timely follow-ups, and proactive communication with clients, adjusters, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle and process insurance claims accurately and promptly.
Review claim documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Communicate effectively and proactively via telephone with policyholders, adjusters, stakeholders, and third-party representatives to resolve claims efficiently.
Maintain detailed claim files and update records in our management systems (Applied Epic and Salesforce Service Cloud).
Evaluate coverage, investigate claim details, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Provide clear, professional guidance to policyholders during the claims process.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to streamline claim procedures and enhance client satisfaction.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in claims handling or related insurance role is required.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
Familiarity with insurance industry software such as Applied Epic and Salesforce is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
