Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Claims Specialist to join our dedicated Policy Services team in Vancouver, WA. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage claims processes, ensuring accurate documentation, timely follow-ups, and proactive communication with clients, adjusters, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and process insurance claims accurately and promptly.

  • Review claim documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

  • Communicate effectively and proactively via telephone with policyholders, adjusters, stakeholders, and third-party representatives to resolve claims efficiently.

  • Maintain detailed claim files and update records in our management systems (Applied Epic and Salesforce Service Cloud).

  • Evaluate coverage, investigate claim details, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

  • Provide clear, professional guidance to policyholders during the claims process.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to streamline claim procedures and enhance client satisfaction.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in claims handling or related insurance role is required.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple claims simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with insurance industry software such as Applied Epic and Salesforce is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
